Marrakech to Ouarzazate Through Tizi n'Tichka
The main road between Marrakech and Ouarzazate crosses the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Because this is a mountain road, the journey time can change. Traffic, road works, weather and slower vehicles can make the trip longer than a normal map estimate.
A short restroom, coffee or photo stop can be made during the journey without turning the transfer into a full sightseeing trip.
Add Ait Ben Haddou to Your Transfer
A visit to Ait Ben Haddou can be added before continuing to Ouarzazate.
Ait Ben Haddou is a historic fortified ksar and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is not treated as a normal five-minute roadside stop, so enough time should be added if you want to walk through the village.
The visit should be selected as part of your transfer because it changes the total journey time.

Do we need a 4×4 to travel from Marrakech to Ouarzazate?
No. A 4×4 is not required for the normal road between Marrakech and Ouarzazate. Cars, minivans and larger vehicles can also use this route. A 4×4 can still be chosen if you prefer this type of vehicle.
Can the driver wait while we visit Ait Ben Haddou?
Yes, when an Ait Ben Haddou visit is included in your booking. The waiting time should be arranged as part of the service because a visit takes longer than a normal roadside stop.
Can we also visit Atlas Film Studios during the transfer?
It can be added to a custom route. A visit to the film studios requires extra time and is different from a direct Marrakech to Ouarzazate transfer. Entrance tickets are separate.
Can we continue from Ouarzazate to Dades, Zagora or Merzouga?
Yes. Ouarzazate can be the final destination or part of a longer private journey toward Dades Valley, Zagora, Merzouga or other destinations in southern Morocco.
Can we stop for lunch on the way?
Yes. A lunch stop can be arranged, but it takes more time than a short comfort stop and will increase the total journey time.
